All-State Practice CD 2003-2004

Legend Brass Quintet has produced an innovative instructional tool for band students in the state of Texas. The product is a set of compact discs containing recordings of this year's Texas All-State Etudes. Though recordings of these etudes have been offered for years on audio tape, to our knowledge this is the first compact disc recording made available to the public school students of Texas. When compared to the typical audio tape recordings available, the advantages of the Legend Brass All-State Etude CD are clear:

· Each CD is recorded on high quality equipment and materials.

· Each CD contains multiple tracks for easy practice, repetition, and recall.

· Each CD segments the etudes into both phrases and phrase segments at multiple practice tempos.

· Each CD contains the etudes performed in their entirety at multiple practice and performance tempos.

· Each CD contains a guide to quickly locate specific segments of the etudes.

None of these advantages can be obtained through the purchase of the typical audio tape recording of the etudes.
